Bolton V Brighton at Reebok Stadium - Match Preview

Bogdan out for Bolton

Bolton will entertain Brighton without goalkeeper Adam Bogdan.

Regular number one Bogdan missed Tuesday night's last-gasp derby win over Blackburn with a groin strain and will be out for two or three weeks.

Former Preston and Leeds keeper Andy Lonergan came in and impressed on his league debut, making fine saves from Grant Hanley and Jordan Rhodes before Chris Eagles fired a stoppage-time winner.

Eagles featured as a second-half substitute but the former Burnley winger's heroics could earn him a recall, while midfielder Medo Kamara made his full debut and will hope to continue despite Freedman's rotation policy.

Keith Andrews (Achilles) and Tyrone Mears (blood infection) remain on the sidelines, while Mark Davies (knee) is a long-term absentee.

Brighton will be without striker Craig Mackail-Smith.

The Seagulls' 11-goal top scorer suffered an Achilles injury against Bristol City on Tuesday night and will miss the rest of the season.

With Will Hoskins also sidelined by a knee injury, boss Gus Poyet is left with only Leonardo Ulloa and Ashley Barnes as his senior frontmen.

Left-back Wayne Bridge remains a doubt with a hamstring problem but midfielders Andrew Crofts and Vicente will return to the squad.

Crofts has recovered from a hamstring injury and Vicente has been rested to build up his fitness.

Fellow midfielder Liam Bridcutt starts after receiving a surprise call-up to the Scotland squad for the World Cup qualifiers against Wales and Serbia.
