Bolton are reportedly looking to increase their defensive options with the acquisition of Portuguese left back Rui Jorge.
The 32-year-old left Sporting in the summer after seven years in Lisbon, and is available outside the transfer window regulations as he is currently a free agent.
Jorge reputedly arrived in Bolton on Monday night for talks, and could make The Trotters the third club of his career after starting out with Porto.
