Wanderers midfielder Stelios Giannakopoulos has been included in the Greece squad to play in the European Championships this summer after coach Otto Rehhagel named his 23-strong party for the journey to Portugal over the weekend.

Rehhagel also named England based Nikos Dabizas of Leicester City in his team and there where also places for ex-Sheffield United ace Traianos Dellas, one time Newcastle United winger Giorgios Georgiadis and former Burnley striker Dimitrios Papadopoulos. However there wasn't a place in the party for former Bolton loanee Kostas Konstantinidis who now plays his football for German club Hertha Berlin.

Former Olympaikos ace Giannakopoulos 30, will be the only Bolton representative at the tournament which will commence on June 12th in Drato when the hosts Portugal are to face the Greeks. Claus Jensen once of Bolton is also expected to play for the Danish team and former loan players Salva (Spain) and Fredi Bobic (Germany) have an outside chance of making their countries squads for the competition.
