Bolton Deny Campo Bust Up

Bolton Wanderers have moved swiftly to deny reports that midfielder Ivan Campo was dropped to the reserves because he would not travel with the rest of the squad to Portugal.

Morning reports claimed that the former Real Madrid star had a bust up with management and was facing a fine of £20,000 after refusing to travel with the rest of the team during their training exercise on the continent but Wanderers manager Sam Allardyce has decribed the reports as being "wide of the mark".

Campo merely asked to play in the reserves in a bid to boost his fitness to give the team some bouncebackability in time for their game with Crystal Palace in just under a fortnight.
