Bolton Wanderers clash with Birmingham City which was originally scheduled to be played on Saturday 28th February 2004 will now take place on Saturday 6th March 2004 at St Andrews.

The Premiership fixture was postponed due to the Trotters involvement in the Carling Cup Final and will now take place the following week on the weekend of the FA Cup Quarter Finals. However should the Blues progress past their Fifth round tie with Sunderland then the game will take place on Tuesday 16th March 2004 with a 19:45 kick off time.

Steve Bruce's side ended Wanderers unbeaten eight month home record in October with a 1-0 win at the Reebok Stadium thanks to a goal by the on-loan striker Mikael Forssell and the two clubs are neck and neck in the top half of the Premiership table.
