Bill Nicholson - R.I.P

Bolton MAD would like to express it's deepest sympathies to the family and friends of former Tottenham Hotspur manager Bill Nicholson who has died at the age of 85.

Mr Nicholson is regarded as the best ever manager to take charge of Spurs having lead them to League and FA Cup glory in the 1960's. He can also boast the accolade of having brought the first European Trophy to England following Tottenham's 1963 European Cup Winners Cup win over Athletico Madrid.

His old club Spurs will take on Bolton today for the first of two matches at league and cup level beginning with the Premiership encounter at White Hart Lane.
