The 21-year-old currently plays his football with Lanus but the Argentina outfit are willing to let their hot prospect go for a fee in the region of £1.75million.
The deal would be a real coup if Allardyce could pull it off and the player has hinted he would be in favour of a move to the Premiership if anybody did come knocking.
