Milan Rapaic - renewed bid?
Croatian international Milan Rapaic could be making a diversion to England en route from the European Championships as a number of Premiership clubs are keen on signing the Ancona midfielder.

Manchester City are said to hold a strong interest in the former Fenerbache and Perugia midfielder but Bolton Wanderers could also be set to renew their interest in the winger whom they tried to take on trial back in January 2003.

Rapaic has had a good tournament for his country playing a starring role in their 2-2 draw against the holders France last week. A move from Italy now seems inevitable following Ancona's relegation from Serie A and sources claim that the English Premiership is the next destination for the player.

Meanwhile one player who does look certain to be moving to Bolton is the Birmingham City star Aliou Cisse. Talks with the Senegalese midfielder are at an advanced stage and a conclusion to the £300,000 deal is said to be imminent.
