Ibrahim Ba has finally found himself a new club after signing a contract with Caykur Rizespor who play in the Turkish leagues.

The former French international had been hoping to stay in England but trials with both Nottingham Forest and Charlton Athletic came to nothing.

Now the former AC Milan and Marseille star will be hoping for a new challenge in far Eastern Europe where he will come face to face with another ex-Bolton player Akin Bulent who has just signed for Malatyaspor.

Ba made nine league appearances for Bolton during season 2003-2004 and was a regular in the Carling Cup squads which eventually to got to the final he was unfortunately unable to re-create the form he showed whilst on trial.
