Bolton Wanderers have added a trip to Halifax Town to their summer schedule. The game will take place this Thursday Evening (24th July)with a 7:45pm kick off.

This match comes only 24 hours after the Trotters take on Royal Antwerp at The Reebok Stadium and its expected that two different sets of players will take part in each game with those not involved on Wednesday expected to play some part in the game at The Shay on Thursday.

It will mark a return to the Yorkshire side for our Assistant Manager Phil Brown who was a very popular player and captain with The Shaymen from 1985-1988 before moving across the Pennines for an equally good spell as captain of Bolton Wanderers.

Two years ago when Bolton played Halifax in a friendly at The Shay they won 1-0 thanks to a goal by striker/defender Ian Marshall
