Allardyce Linked To City Post Again

The Manchester City board of directors have targeted Sam Allardyce as the man that they want to succeed Kevin Keegan in the managerial hotseat at the City of Manchester Stadium.

City have been linked with the Bolton manager on a number of occasions in the past and reports in this morning's newspapers are claiming that the Mancunians see Allardyce as the man to take their club forward when Keegan's contract ends in just under two years.

The Wanderers boss has recently penned a long term contract extension to remain at the Reebok Stadium until 2009, so the Citezens have little chance in luring him to Eastlands.

The thing that Bolton will be annoyed about is that The Sun have released this article on the eve of the Premiership match between the two teams. In any case it is highly unlikely that Allardyce will want to leave the club he has been associated with for over 30 years.
