Bolton manager Sam Allardyce is confident he can have a couple of new faces in place by the August 31st deadline and he revealed that he has scouts, agents and members of his coaching staff as well as himself looking for potential new faces to add to the team.

Bringing players to the Reebok Stadium has been a struggle for the Trotters boss over the summer but he is confident his band of trustworthy agents will uncover a decent player that is within his current financial budget.

"I always think that something will turn up if we source as much as we source and pester as much as we pester" he said regarding his search for new faces.

"A lot of people do that on our behalf - not just from within the staff of the football club but agents I have confidence in. We ring them and tell them what we are looking for, how much money we've got and they get us some options" he said

He also outlined to need for the agents to find players for clubs stating that it is within an agents financial interest to help a club "Because August 31 is going to be their last pay day till January they dont half work hard. I would happily pay them the comission they deserve if they find us a player" he added
