Bolton are in need of a new left sided full back having allowed Simon Charlton to make the move to Premiership new boys Norwich City last week whilst Portsmouth are looking for more defensive signings following the departure of Petri Pasanen.
Robinson only joined the Baggies in last October following over 200 appearances for Watford so a move for the former England U21 defender is quite surprising.
