Reports over the weekend linking Bolton with Andy Van der Meyde have been denied by the player's agent, insisting no contact has been made between the two clubs.

Dekker revealed that a number of clubs from England and Italy were chasing van der Meyde and the player is weighing up his options.

"I have seen the reports about Bolton, but I have not heard anything from anyone at Bolton," Dekker told skysports.com.

"I spoke to Internazionale today and they have not heard anything and there has been no official contact.

"At the moment there is nothing official, but Andy wants to move on as he has been at Inter for two years and he wants to get back to how he was at Ajax and play regular football.

"I think Andy will stay in Italy or go to England.

"He will be with Inter when they go to England next week for some friendlies and he will hoping to catch the eye there.

"Fiorentina I believe wanted him on loan, but I think Inter would prefer a permanent transfer.

"We will now just wait and see what offers are made and it all depends on who the club are."
