Monaco based agent Willie McKay has revealed that Bolton Wanderers are in the hunt to sign Senegalese international striker Henri Camara following his impressive spell in the Premiership with relegated Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The 27-year old was in a fine run of goalscoring form with the Molineux club towards the end of the season and even hit the target against the Trotters in a league game over the Easter period and it is beleived that the former Sedan player is a top target of Bolton manager Sam Allardyce.

Camara has aspirations to stay in the top flight and slapped in a transfer request with Wolves yesterday which was quickly rejected. However it is said that sooner or later the player will leave the Black Country for pastures new and McKay says that a number of clubs have shown an interest and that Bolton have made an offer.

"There is a few clubs interested in Henri and he wants to stay in The Premiership. Bolton are very keen and they have made an offer for him. But Wolves' valuation of Henri and his own valuation of himself is completely different."

Figures of £3 million have been touted around in the press which would mean the player is out of Bolton's financial reach, however he has been a target for the club for a couple of months now and chairman Phil Gartside could be persuaded to take a cash gamble on a player who is still at the peak of his game.
