Saturday's Premiership opponents Charlton Athletic are taking a look at former Bolton Wanderers midfielder Ibrahim Ba during tonight's Barclaycard Reserve League (South) clash with Fulham.

The 30-year old made nine substitute appearances for the Trotters in the Premiership last term and featured heavily during the clubs Carling Cup run which was to include fine performances by the player in the wins over Liverpool and Southampton.

Despite a good start at the Reebok Stadium his performances tailed off during the latter part of the campaign and he was one of half a dozen players to be given a Free Transfer during the summer, recently going on trial with Nottingham Forest were he failed to convince manager Joe Kinnear that he was worthy of a contract.
