Bolton Wanderers will this afternoon welcome Greek champions Olympiakos to the Reebok Stadium in their final game of the pre-season programme and they will be hoping to keep up the good standard which they have set themselves over the summer having lost only one pre-season game since taking on Ballymena United in their first game last month.

Stelios Giannakopoulos is expected to start for Bolton, facing his old club for the first time since he left his homeland last month to seek a fresh challenge in England. Both Ricardo Gardner and Jermaine Johnson are again expected to play some part in the game as will trialist Ibrahim Ba but missing will be Youri Djorkaeff who is injured, Jonathan Walters and Ndiwa Lord-Kangana who are out on loan and another trialist Soufenni Diawara may not feature.

Henrik Pedersen, Kevin Davies and Delroy Facey will all be hoping they can add to their pre-season goal tallys and put in a good performance in the hope that they will be selected as the main striker for the league opener next weekend.

Olympiakos look set to include new signing Kostas Harissis in their squad after the defender signed a contract last week whilst former Middlesbrough midfielder Christian Karembeu and ex-Newcastle United winger Giorgis Georgiadis look also set to be included in the away line up. Lambros Choutos, a striker reportedly targeted by Wanderers over the summer may miss out because of an internal matter.
