Bolton manager Sam Allardyce has named a squad of youth and experience for tonights friendly against local rivals Oldham Athletic at Boundary Park.

The squad in full is as follows

Jussi Jaaskelainen, Nicky Hunt, Anthony Barness, Ricardo Gardner, Kevin Nolan, Bruno N'Gotty, Radhi Jaidi, Jay-Jay Okocha, Gary Speed, Kevin Davies, Michael Bridges, Kevin Poole, Henrik Pedersen, Joey O'Brien, Ricky Shakes, Bedi Buval, Bradley Hill, Charlie Comyn-Platt, Jason Talbot

For Talbot, Hill and Buval it marks their first strong test of pre-season whilst Shakes, Comyn-Platt and O'Brien will once again get a chance to prove to the manager that they are worthy of a place in the first team squad.

Oldham are expected to name a similar side to one which held Leeds United to a goalless draw at the weekend with former Wanderers players Dean Holden and Jermaine Johnson both set to feature against their former club whilst ex-Oldham defender Neil McDonald now of Bolton and former Bolton pair John Sheridan and Tony Philliskirk now of Oldham will be coaching from the touchlines.
