Leicester City Preview

Last updated : 09 February 2004 By Mark Heys
Bolton Wanderers go into the live televised clash with Leicester City tommorow evening hoping to continue their fine run which has seen them defeated just once in the league during 2004.

Sam Allardyce's side matched Liverpool on Saturday afternoon during a well contested 2-2 draw and the Bolton boss will be hoping the Wanderers can keep that run going as they visit the Walkers Stadium.

However Allardyce must do without Nicky Hunt as the young full back is forced to sit out the game due to a one match suspension picked up after accumilating five bookings. Former Leicester defender Steve Howey will also be missing due to an agreement between the two clubs which prevents the former England player from participating due to his recent move between from the Foxes to Bolton. Jon Otsemobor however is likely to make his Bolton debut to replace Hunt whilst the Bolton manager is sweating on the fitness of midfielders Stelios Giannakopoulos (ankle) and Per Frandsen (pelvis).

Leicester boss Micky Adams will be hoping his side can bounce back from two heavy defeats sustained against Aston Villa and Newcastle United and will be hoping to call upon the services of Matt Elliott who missed the weekend clash with the Magpies. Former Wanderers favourite Gerry Taggart is once again expected to line up alongside Riccardo Scimeca in the Foxes defence whilst there could be a recall for veteran striker Les Ferdinand who scored a last gasp equaliser the last time they met the Trotters in December.
