Fish hopes for Happy return

Charlton Athletic defender Mark Fish hopes the Addicks can maintain their decent start to the season but has warned that his former club Bolton Wanderers will be keen to wipe out any memories of Tuesday night's defeat by Portsmouth when the Londoners travel to the Reebok Stadium on Saturday.

Former South African international Fish who was signed by Bolton in August 1997 from Lazio, had four succesful years with the club making over 100 appearances before moving south to The Valley in November 2000 admits he still looks for the Trotters results and progress but is keen to point out once out on the pitch he will be going all out to gain the three points for his current side meaning any sentiments will be put to one side.

"I had four good years there, I still keep an eye on their results and I hope that they stay up" he told BBC London Radio

"But obviously when I play them there are no friendships and hopefully we can go there and get a good result. Last season we had a good away record and hope to continue that but they will be hoping to bounce back following the defeat at Portsmouth" he added

Fish should be joined by another former Wanderers favourite as Claus Jensen is included in the squad to travel to Lancashire, however ex-Addick Anthony Barness will miss the chance to face his former team through injury sustained in Bolton's midweek loss to Pompey.
